With 20 minutes on the clock, Peder Neira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palestra do Interior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute, Doni Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Bektaş Koçak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balaban Orcaner came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão. But to his dismay, Serafim Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 36th minute Yavuz Selim Karakaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Nelson Xavier notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Black Cloud FC's Balaban Orcaner. Balaban Orcaner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Pirani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balaban Orcaner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Pirani's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Pirani in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Balaban Orcaner saved Black Cloud FC from getting behind. After 57 minutes, Emre Kocak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Cloud FC and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Cumhur Borlu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Cloud FC. Palestra do Interior's Dinei Brito was substituted for Ronaldo Pirani. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Nouma in the 71st minute of play. Pau Lin-Carlos charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pau Lin-Carlos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 minutes, Ezequiel de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra do Interior and the Black Cloud FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black Cloud FC's Emre Kocak got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Dinei Brito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Balaban Orcaner, passed just outside the right post. Pau Lin-Carlos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Black Cloud FC's Pascal Nouma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Palestra do Interior's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
