Gino Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orelio Picka in the 19th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Wanderson Passos got a free kick in the 21st minute. When DENVER™'s Nilmar Freitas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute Orelio Picka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Couto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Abud in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Abud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Abud in the 52nd minute of play. Cesinha Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes, João Adolfo Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the DENVER™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, João Adolfo Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Hermes. 66 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Couto came free, but Delfim Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Batista. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Percy Prestes hit a great ball. Gino Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Guilherme Abud made a precise shot to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. DENVER™'s Waldir Romero was substituted for Guilherme Abud. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Batista in the 86th minute of play. After 86 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Araújo. In the 87thth minute of the game Jailson Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Delfim Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Caio de Mendonça hit a great ball. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Romero in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
