Mats Bank hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 蜀 张飞 came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Malte Sundström. But to his dismay, Malte Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Knut Rolfsson fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mansfield Town FC's protests and gave Knut Rolfsson a yellow card for diving instead. Knut Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, 莫思平 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl Stjernfelt. With a little luck, Mansfield Town FC's Karl Stjernfelt got control of the ball when 莫思平 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malte Sundström to make the kick off. Johnny Jernberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 82nd minute, Staffan Kristiansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 朱雄桦 scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Stjernfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mansfield Town FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王.
