Winford Taylor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Herrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Pere Ba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Varela quite easily take care of the ball. Tobias Herrington received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Herrington slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Tobias Herrington notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ITAFUT 4EVER's Ernesto Varela. Ernesto Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. New England Minas's Roland Goldstein was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Estevez Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Velasco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Ba in the 53rd minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ernesto Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ernesto Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Herrington in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Waylon McQueen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Lima got a free kick in the 77th minute. Léo Velasco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Herrington in the 80th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ernesto Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Cléber Palmeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Winford Taylor. Cléber Palmeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. After 89 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Dwayne Clement. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Morrow during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Morrow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The New England Minas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ITAFUT 4EVER's performance. The match ended with a win for ITAFUT 4EVER.
