Zeca Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Vivaldo Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Mendes struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Horea Hurmuzache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. After having played for 11 minutes, Vivaldo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Munhoz in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Abelardo Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Hurmuzache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vivaldo Munhoz went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Vivaldo Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vivaldo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goblins F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Șerban Damian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo de Carvalho. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Zé Pedro Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goblins F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Greblă hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Zé Pedro Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vivaldo Munhoz sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivaldo Munhoz made a kick off. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Greblă to maneuver through the defense. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Goblins F.C. were awarded a corner. Waldemar Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Waldemar Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horea Hurmuzache quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Munhoz in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Marquinhos de Andrade got a free kick in the 61st minute. Waldemar Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Hurmuzache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Goblins F.C.'s Vivaldo Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. With a little luck, DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache got control of the ball when Vivaldo Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Remus Elisei hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Agostinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goblins F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gelu Tăutu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Munhoz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Goblins F.C. were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after DINAMO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar Ramos took the corner. After taking down the ball on Goblins F.C.'s corner Waldemar Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Horea Hurmuzache quite easily take care of the ball.
