Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vivaldo Munhoz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bertil Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mansfield Town FC's Knut Rolfsson got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 6 minutes Mansfield Town FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Ramos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Goblins F.C.'s Waldemar Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl Stjernfelt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Malte Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnaldo de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl Stjernfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Stjernfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Ramos came free, but Karl Stjernfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Sundström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Malte Sundström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Malte Sundström put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnaldo de Carvalho. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Karl Stjernfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 51st minute of the match. Mansfield Town FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Vivaldo Munhoz scored to the left of an out of position Karl Stjernfelt, making the score, 3-1. Waldemar Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Abelardo Pitta got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Goblins F.C. defense, Malte Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo de Carvalho. The Goblins F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Waldemar Ramos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eduardo Machado hit a great ball. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Jernberg in the 79th minute of play. Kaká Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Goblins F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
