The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Dias got free with Perivaldo Moreira in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernani Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 23 minutes, Délio Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the ≮王者归来≯News at 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Délio Souza. In the 24th minute Marco Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARINUS MZC's protests and gave Daniel Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Dias in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato de Souza during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Marco Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Perivaldo Moreira. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Ernani Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Alex Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hílton Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≮王者归来≯News at 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Dias in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Moreira saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. In the 58th minute of the match ≮王者归来≯News at 11 got a corner. MARINUS MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton Toscano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Hílton Toscano to fire away a dangerous shot which Perivaldo Moreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 59 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Arósio. After 62 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Prata. In the 68th minute Valdo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Nygaard in the 88th minute of play. Lester Nygaard took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Moreira. Perivaldo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. ≮王者归来≯News at 11's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
