Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Valdo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winford Taylor came out of the goal and Valdo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Délio Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New England Minas's Winford Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Souza in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute Délio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winford Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Morrow kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Winford Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Souza in the 28th minute of play. Donato de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Perivaldo Moreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 34 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Mosley in the 37th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tod Mosley was the one to do the kick off. Valdo Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Kaba Sø. But to his dismay, Kaba Sø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. MARINUS MZC's Vítor de Senna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dwayne Clement, made in the 58th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Guimarães in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winford Taylor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Valdo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winford Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio de Souza during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Cláudio de Souza got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Perivaldo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Mosley in the 67th minute of play. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tod Mosley. But to his dismay, Tod Mosley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 71st minute Valdo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winford Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Tobias Herrington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 78 minutes of play, New England Minas's Tobias Herrington made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! When MARINUS MZC's Valdo Guimarães in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Alex Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Tobias Herrington cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Perivaldo Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute Tod Mosley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Herrington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
