Jailson Batista started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orelio Picka in the 4th minute of play forced Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper Walmir Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orelio Picka succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Walmir Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orelio Picka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fausto Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orelio Picka in the 28th minute of play. Rafa Coutinho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Jailson Batista came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Batista couldn't finish the play. Walmir Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Coelho having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rafa Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Couto. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Rafa Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jaime de Mendonça replaced Orelio Picka. In the 69th minute, Percy Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Batista. Jailson Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Dias having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Toninho Couto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmir Dias. Walmir Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 81 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Coutinho came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Toninho Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Toninho Couto got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jaime de Mendonça ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmir Dias. Walmir Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Couto in the 95th minute of play. Walmir Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Queirós in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barcellos Mineiro FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
