When 彭兴希 fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave David Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by David Vale. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Serafim Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 蜀 张飞 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldo Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王 made a substitution. 邵烽然 replaced 谢广川. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 莫思平 in the 66th minute of the match. Nelsinho Marinho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, 蜀 张飞 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫思平, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's 莫思平 fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high.
