He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goblins F.C. reached it. In the 15th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tadeu Guerra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th minute, Zé Pedro Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The wind increased when Vivaldo Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Munhoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Coelho. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play.
