Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matias Bilintx kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes Los Muchachos del 86's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matias Bilintx who took care of the corner kick. Matias Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Atahan Balon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Ljubenković came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Luka Ljubenković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atahan Balon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Bilintx in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Sporting de Gijón were awarded a corner. Matias Bilintx went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute, Eustacio Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Ljubenković in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luka Ljubenković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Cordoba was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th minute Beto Márcico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Atahan Balon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Saturnino Curcio replaced Kauan de Barros. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luka Ljubenković to strike the kick off in the second half. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 52nd minute of play. Óscar Cordoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jérémie Boix in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Asiz Soon came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atahan Balon came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx. But to his dismay, Matias Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Saturnino Curcio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atahan Balon came out of the goal and Saturnino Curcio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After taking down the ball on Sporting de Gijón's corner Diego Maradona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atahan Balon quite easily take care of the ball. Matias Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atahan Balon having to make a save. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 65th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Matias Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Babbis Boukouvalas with Albino Peruanton as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bilintx in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Saturnino Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Saturnino Curcio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atahan Balon. Los Muchachos del 86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Curcio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Los Muchachos del 86's Efrain Jacob was substituted for Jérémie Boix. Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni was substituted for Asiz Soon. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Carolo Ovando replaced Alejandro Rufo. Los Muchachos del 86's Sander Tielemans was substituted for Beto Márcico. Efrain Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Óscar Cordoba made a huge save. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bilintx in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Efrain Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Óscar Cordoba made a huge save. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Ljubenković, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Muchachos del 86 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting de Gijón.
