The crowd rose to their feet as Adriano van Beek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Slawomir Michalski. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Winström to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Bulnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Justens, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Domingo Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Nordal in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano van Beek got free with Slawomir Michalski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Justens in the 35th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, one of ✪ XV de Umarizal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gogo Tino walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Domingo Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cyprian Bugno replaced Pablo Aimar. ★ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs★'s Slawomir Michalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano van Beek in the 52nd minute of play. Domingo Bulnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Venerando's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano van Beek in the 65th minute of play forced ★ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs★'s goalkeeper Slawomir Michalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slawomir Michalski came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek. But to his dismay, Adriano van Beek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Damian Ostrowski was substituted for Allan Winström. 75 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Ribeiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. ★ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs★'s Flor Chotard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 76 minutes into the match, ★ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs★'s Gualterio Venerando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Bulnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gualterio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes got control of the ball when Gualterio Venerando tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Gualterio Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Venerando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Jorn Roorda got a free kick in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Venerando. The ✪ XV de Umarizal players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
