AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. 7 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Ronaldo in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germano Bettencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Teobaldo Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Konurbano Atletico's Abi Schrape made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Eztebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Perutxo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. Narcis Hurezeanu made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugo Botello immediately put the ball in play. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Konurbano Atletico's Prospero Perutxo. But to his dismay, Prospero Perutxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 34th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Prospero Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teobaldo Demario. Teobaldo Demario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Demario made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Rios was the one to do the kick off. Teobaldo Demario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Rios went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Lino Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Germano Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Prospero Perutxo hit a great ball. Lino Rios scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teobaldo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Teobaldo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes, Thiago Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Konurbano Atletico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thiago Silva hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Germano Bettencourt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teobaldo Demario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aureliano Karlo scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Teobaldo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Jonatan Maidana put in a rough tackle. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC FUSION! AFC FUSION:s Roberto Eztebe showed great skill when he stopped Narcis Hurezeanu:s penalty. Dawid Beckham was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 100th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC FUSION fans cheered their team off the field, for while Konurbano Atletico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
