The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Romulo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Joel Rosado. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bai Yan Yong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Beckham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingo Bulnes. ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Domingo Bulnes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Lino Rios. But to his dismay, Lino Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adriano van Beek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Domingo Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 26th minute of the match. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on AFC FUSION's corner Dawid Beckham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domingo Bulnes quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joel Rosado hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Bulnes saved ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Domingo Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano van Beek was the one to do the kick off. Anderson Passos might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Eztebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anderson Passos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Adriano van Beek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bai Yan Yong to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Bai Yan Yong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Silva in the 70th minute of play. AFC FUSION's Jan Hop was substituted for Wojciech Fiszer. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Lionel 梅西 replaced Adriano van Beek. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo was substituted for Lino Rios. With a little luck, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Karlo got free with Domingo Bulnes in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Germano Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
