Nils-Emil Nordmark started the match with the kick off. Skövde AIK's Viktor Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 4th minute of play. Skövde AIK's Nils-Emil Nordmark got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Nils-Emil Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skövde AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Emil Nordmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Keegan. In the 22nd minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Damario in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Pettersson saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. In the 26th minute Kubilay İmge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Viktor Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 庄潮宽 in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Nordmark got free with Cristian Vladimirescu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Skövde AIK defense, Kubilay İmge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Pettersson. The Skövde AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Pettersson should have stopped the shot. The Skövde AIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Riesgo Cero were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lech Biskupiak to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Biskupiak in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Pettersson saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. In the 54th minute Jerry Williams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, 庄潮宽 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viktor Pettersson, 0-2. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Williams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Riesgo Cero's zone, Nils-Emil Nordmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Vladimirescu came out of the goal and Nils-Emil Nordmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Emil Nordmark struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristian Vladimirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. Viktor Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Biskupiak in the 85th minute of the match. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Riesgo Cero were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Skövde AIK side.
