The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Muchachos del 86. Atahan Balon had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Kevin Keegan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 97 minutes, Hans Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skövde AIK and the Los Muchachos del 86 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Honesto in the 98th minute of play.
