Alvaro Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Nestor Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Raymond went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tomás Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Laurendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Alvaro Raymond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Montrel came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Montrel in the 37th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. During the 42nd minute of the match Tomás Laurendi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomás Laurendi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tomás Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Alvaro Raymond struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nestor Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 52nd minute of the match. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Ancho Branca was substituted for Dinu Ivănescu. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. In the 69th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 75th minute, Serafino Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Cristobal Lia replaced Pavao Zadro. Despidida AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Lucila in the 78th minute. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Arano in the 81st minute of play. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Toro Martínez came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toro Martínez couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lobos de Carelia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
