Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 3rd minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Jenipapo SC's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Magalhães, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Rony Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rony Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Sebastião Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rafinha Gomes hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaká Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Lauro Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Lopes skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Magalhães got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alberto Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Gisbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Lauro Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Kaká Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaká Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Percy Lopes made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rafinha Gomes immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Kaká Lopes. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaká Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 88th minute of play. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Luisão Silveira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Kaká Lopes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaime Cazalla. In the 95th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kaká Lopes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
