Germano Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedor Zaretskiy in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Erik de Alcântara got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuil Chupin in the 14th minute of play forced Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mundial EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Moraes should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, FENERBAHÇE FC's Jorge Villareal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
