Hugo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≮王者归来≯水军's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Generoso Rivero was slow to take the kick. During this time Nahitantino's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Camilo Hernando managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 秦庭烽 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Javiero having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Hernando made a precise shot to the right of Hugo de Amorim. ≮王者归来≯水军's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hugo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Mateo in the 28th minute of play. Anselmo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo de Amorim having to interfere. Anselmo Mateo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hugo de Amorim made a huge save. Nahitantino's Anselmo Mateo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, ≮王者归来≯水军's 钱珂泉 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 钱珂泉 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ≮王者归来≯水军 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 钱珂泉 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Hugo de Amorim, was totally fooled by Nahitantino's Generoso Rivero, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Anselmo Mateo made the kick off in the second half. Many of ≮王者归来≯水军's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ≮王者归来≯水军 may have spent more time on the ball, but Nahitantino were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
