In the 20th minute, Placido Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Jaroszewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Florencio Librado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Marcel Donatello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcel Donatello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Placido Neron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Braulio Peru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Donatello. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. After 46 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Isaio. The supporters of Lea FC booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Hugo Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Librado made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Librado in the 53rd minute of play forced Lea FC's goalkeeper Marcel Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the game Diguinho Diniz made a throw-in which Amadeu de Alcântara played forward. After 67 played minutes, Lea FC's Silvinho Madureira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lea FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Lea FC's Claudinei Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Matxin. That made the score 2-2 after 70 minutes of play. In the 74th minute BAC Belgrano de Cba were awarded a corner. Placido Neron went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lea FC's goalie and right to Florencio Librado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lea FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 77 played minutes Claudinei Cunha rounded BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. When Lucio Ihintza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the BAC Belgrano de Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Ihintza couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Lea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Librado came free, but Marcel Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Librado scored 3-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Donatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Placido Neron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Peru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Librado in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Donatello saved Lea FC from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
