Sigi Nicklis charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigi Nicklis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Sigi Nicklis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Cano in the 29th minute of play. When Amadeu de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lea FC's protests and gave Amadeu de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeu de Alcântara hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Marcel Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo De Luca's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Hugo Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Branden Shelton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's Coronel Durango sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mao Zhen Xing kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Lea FC's Silvinho Madureira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Branden Shelton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lea FC reached it. In the 44th minute, Cristoforo De Luca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branden Shelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Olo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hugo Bastos made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hugo Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branden Shelton was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Marcel Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo De Luca in the 58th minute of play. Hugo Bastos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branden Shelton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Bastos ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Bastos in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Coronel Durango could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Marcel Donatello made a huge save. In the 74th minute Everardo Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Cristoforo De Luca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Otávio Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Branden Shelton. K.F TIRANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. K.F TIRANA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Coronel Durango in the 87th minute. After taking down the ball on K.F TIRANA's corner Wincenty Roman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcel Donatello quite easily take care of the ball. Claudinei Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branden Shelton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Marcel Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo De Luca's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Paco Cano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Donatello. Paco Cano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
