In the 35th minute Harry Boumans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Abecia in the 37th minute of play. Harry Boumans struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hipolito Rico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runa United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Boumans in the 40th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Boumans in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Rico saved Black Mamba from getting behind.

After 51 played minutes Runa United got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Ekgren. If Harry Boumans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The supporters of Runa United booed when Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verne Everett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Verne Everett came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Everett in the 96th minute of play.
