The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, Bai Yan Feng made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Rico. Black Mamba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rickard Lövkvist hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Verne Everett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ma Yong Jun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karen FC's attentive Oskar Sandell managed to snatch the ball when Henrique Laguna made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Bergvall in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ma Yong Jun saved Karen FC from getting behind. In the 31st minute of the match Black Mamba got a corner. Karen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Verne Everett ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Black Mamba's Fredrik Nordström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Hipolito Rico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Svanberg's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Hipolito Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bon Guidetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oskar Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hipolito Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Bergvall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Everett in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Angelino Abecia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Mamba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karen FC's Kiprijan Vučurević managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henrique Laguna in the 59 minute of the game. Henrique Laguna got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Calistrat Deșliu. Henry Bergvall in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ma Yong Jun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Mamba's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Arvin Svanberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Karen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvin Svanberg couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Black Mamba's Angelino Abecia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ma Yong Jun. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. In the 81st minute Henry Bergvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verne Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Angelino Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Deșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ma Yong Jun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Karen FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Mamba's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Mamba.
