A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Franco Murillo hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Jamar Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şükrü Saye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Willie Cabrera made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Jamar Lange in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dromes FC's Jack Grealish. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cameron Cardona in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Troy Murry came free, but Atilano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Willie Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raimundo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodger Calloway fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stowe City's protests and gave Rodger Calloway a yellow card for diving instead. Rodger Calloway hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Raimundo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willie Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 32nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Raimundo Guimarães sped through Stowe City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willie Cabrera. Raimundo Guimarães's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Willie Cabrera firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Raimundo Guimarães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dromes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Stowe City's Willie Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Dromes FC's Atilano Benat got control of the ball when Cameron Cardona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Cameron Cardona could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Atilano Benat however easily saved by the left post. Willie Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükrü Saye in the 64th minute of the match. Raimundo Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willie Cabrera having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Guimarães in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willie Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willie Cabrera having to make a save. Jamar Lange made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ricky Gardner however managed to control. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dromes FC had played much better football throughout.
