The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claes Fender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Black Mamba defense, Claes Fender kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Rico. The Black Mamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Rico should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Henry Bergvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Montez was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Claes Fender recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hipolito Rico. Claes Fender showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Claes Fender got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Claes Fender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrique Laguna made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Henrique Laguna. Hipolito Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Fender in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC got a freekick which was hit by Claes Fender. Ruben Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verne Everett in the 35th minute of the match. Verne Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Montez having to interfere. Claes Fender struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hipolito Rico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hala Madrid Iraki FC. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's attentive Marcelo Gallarde managed to snatch the ball when Henrique Laguna made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Ruben Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Bergvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Åberg. Black Mamba's Verne Everett got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hampus Lönn made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Aquilino Damásio. 52 minutes in the game Hampus Lönn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ceyhun Tur. 55 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Bergvall. Henrique Laguna made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Verne Everett immediately put the ball in play. Black Mamba were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Hala Madrid Iraki FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Verne Everett took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Bergvall in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Montez saved Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting behind. The supporters of Black Mamba booed when Hala Madrid Iraki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Johannes Sjögren replaced Claes Fender. After 73 played minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Åberg. The Black Mamba fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Black Mamba's Henry Bergvall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Bergvall in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Hala Madrid Iraki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Black Mamba's Henry Bergvall got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verne Everett got free with Ruben Montez in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 87 minutes, Angelino Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Mamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Abecia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Verne Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Sjögren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipolito Rico having to make a save. Hipolito Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Sjögren in the 91st minute of the match. When Chip Potterton fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hala Madrid Iraki FC's protests and gave Chip Potterton a yellow card for diving instead. Many of Black Mamba's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Black Mamba may have spent more time on the ball, but Hala Madrid Iraki FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
