Ma Yong Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Fender in the 20th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Jaime Egaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slawomir Majaks short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ruben Montez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rabia Ünal's late challenge caught a Karen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rabia Ünal helped the player get up and apologised. Rabia Ünal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Slawomir Majak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 42 minutes into the game, Einar Carlsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Aquilino Damásio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Oskar Sandell hit a great ball. Gustaf Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Estevez hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Karen FC were awarded a corner. Rickard Lövkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. 58 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Fender came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Majak, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Fender in the 64th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karen FC's Bon Guidetti was substituted for Oskar Sandell. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Yin Ling Jian replaced Rabia Ünal. Ruben Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Hedman made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Marcelo Gallarde. The Karen FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hala Madrid Iraki FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hala Madrid Iraki FC.
