Henrik Belkå showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Fender, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kieran Gordon came free, but Ruben Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Fender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Belkå read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Mark Åberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. Peter Falkrantz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruben Montez. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claes Fender was the one to do the kick off. Robin Kaxe made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Mark Åberg. After 59 minutes of play, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Marcelo Gallarde made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Belkå was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Claes Fender's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Belkå was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Johannes Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Sjögren in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Belkå prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Belkå. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Belkå came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Johannes Sjögren. But to his dismay, Johannes Sjögren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 96 minutes in the game Robin Kaxe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kieran Gordon. The Wild Bunch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
