When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Nikola Krstović took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Birger Lundqvist to make any attempt to save it. Edvard Qvarnström's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvard Qvarnström helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the game, one of Cohaerentia F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Birger Lundqvist had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Kent Sjöö's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Kent Sjöö had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Birger Lundqvist. Cohaerentia F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Sjöö was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 9th minute, Kent Sjöö fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper Birger Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper Birger Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cohaerentia F.C.'s Birger Lundqvist. Kolkhis Papadakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Sjöö, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Björk during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. Cohaerentia F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Nikola Krstović scored to the left of an out of position Birger Lundqvist, making the score, 4-0. AFK Petržalka's Kolkhis Papadakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Björk in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Pirani to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Nikola Krstović took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birger Lundqvist. Birger Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Kolkhis Papadakos made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Georg Holmstedt sent off a good shot on target. Nikola Krstović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Kent Sjöö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Nikola Krstović took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birger Lundqvist. Birger Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Birger Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Roger Björk took a quick shot and it went in 8-1 without a chance for Kolkhis Papadakos to make any attempt to save it. Nikola Krstović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Kent Sjöö notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Cohaerentia F.C.'s Birger Lundqvist. Birger Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birger Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 86th minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Nikola Krstović sped through Cohaerentia F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birger Lundqvist. In the 89th minute, Nikola Krstović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. Birger Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikola Krstović went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score.
