With a little luck, Caaguazu's Giro Rollan got control of the ball when Celso Meder tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Erauso in the 43rd minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Giro Rollan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Caaguazu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apocalípticos & Caóticos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Conrado Faron got a free kick in the 71st minute. Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Arsenio Francesco replaced Victoriano Erauso. Conrado Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Frasco came free, but Giro Rollan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Lino Sarracino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caaguazu's Giro Rollan did a great save. Tomás Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Giro Rollan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Francesco came free, but Giro Rollan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giro Rollan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Francesco in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Francesco in the 96th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Giro Rollan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
