The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Cohaerentia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Dahlbom. 6 minutes into the match, Cohaerentia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Tasso came free, but Birger Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Oscar Hjortberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cohaerentia F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Paulão Tasso scored to the left of an out of position Birger Lundqvist, making the score, 2-0. Alessandro Clarkfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Birger Lundqvist made a huge save. Joakim Abrahamsson's late challenge caught a Söderbröder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Abrahamsson helped the player get up and apologised. Joakim Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Paulão Tasso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Birger Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Tasso in the 31st minute of the match. Birger Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Hjortberg in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miromir Ikalewicz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Söderbröder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miromir Ikalewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Cohaerentia F.C.'s Rune Gregersson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Axel Nyman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cohaerentia F.C. reached it. Birger Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Clarkfeldt in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Alessandro Clarkfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Roger Björk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Axel Nyman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Söderbröder getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jon Brovall hit a great ball.

Birger Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Clarkfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th match minute, Söderbröder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miromir Ikalewicz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Söderbröder's Karl-Axel Nyman got control of the ball when Edwin Dahlbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Söderbröder's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rune Gregersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Cohaerentia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cohaerentia F.C.'s corner Rune Gregersson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Axel Nyman quite easily take care of the ball. Cohaerentia F.C.'s Birger Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Clarkfeldt in the 59th minute of play. Fred Hedvall hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Birger Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Tasso in the 61st minute of play. Söderbröder's Karl-Axel Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Gregersson in the 68th minute of play. Jon Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Karl-Axel Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Söderbröder booed when Cohaerentia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 minutes of play, Söderbröder's Alessandro Clarkfeldt made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Söderbröder fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cohaerentia F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
