In the 14th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Canado to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Cristian Santamaria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giro Rollan. Caaguazu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Santamaria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Giro Rollan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dagoberto Alcalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Goiano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 26th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Giro Rollan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giro Rollan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria managed to work through Caaguazu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cristian Santamaria dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 31st minute German Canado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valente Nieva who took care of the corner kick. Alexander Torres tried in the 33rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Sílvio Luiz Goiano a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. 邓辰冰 kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giro Rollan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Nicolás Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Carmelo Sifon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Caaguazu's Tajo Barquerin was substituted for Dagoberto Alcalde. Caaguazu's Cordareo Lazcano was substituted for Felix Olloa. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's German Canado got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Nicolás Guerrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 63rd minute Angel Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giro Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caaguazu's Giro Rollan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 66th minute of play. Caaguazu's Giro Rollan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Caaguazu from getting a goal against them. Giro Rollan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolás Guerrero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Carmelo Sifon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Giro Rollan got control of the ball when Carmelo Sifon tried to sneak it across the goal line.
