Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Caaguazu's Conrado Faron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Alfonso Ugarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savier Lebron to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Faron had several of the Alfonso Ugarte's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ovando Cabada as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giro Rollan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Lebron in the 10th minute of play. Ovando Cabada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Caaguazu's Ovando Cabada threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Faron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Treceño came free, but Giro Rollan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caaguazu's Giro Rollan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Lebron in the 22nd minute of play. Giro Rollan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada got control of the ball when German Canado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves German Canado could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Ovando Cabada however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute Mikolas Laredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giro Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giro Rollan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Lebron in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Lebron made a kick off. Ovando Cabada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With his leg Giro Rollan managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Alfonso Ugarte's Savier Lebron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute of the match Alfonso Ugarte got a corner. Caaguazu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Savier Lebron ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ovando Cabada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Caaguazu got a corner. Alfonso Ugarte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Faron ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Caaguazu's corner German Canado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovando Cabada quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Caaguazu defense, Bento Lebron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giro Rollan. The Caaguazu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giro Rollan should have stopped the shot. Giro Rollan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Aurre Belorado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caaguazu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfonso Ugarte the free kick. After 70 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Aurre Belorado. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Alfonso Ugarte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Valea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Conrado Faron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Alfonso Ugarte defense, Conrado Faron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovando Cabada. The Alfonso Ugarte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovando Cabada should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Aurre Belorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Savier Lebron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tajo Barquerin hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Giro Rollan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Goñi. In the 94th minute, Ambrosio Goñi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caaguazu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alfonso Ugarte had controlled the match.
