After a defensive mix-up in K.F TIRANA's zone, Paulão Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branden Shelton came out of the goal and Paulão Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo De Luca in the 8th minute of play forced Söderbröder's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on K.F TIRANA's corner Avram Iorgulescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Axel Nyman quite easily take care of the ball. Karl-Axel Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo De Luca in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Axel Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Paco Cano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Axel Nyman. Söderbröder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paco Cano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Paulão Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Åke Vestlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Branden Shelton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Vestlund in the 40th minute of play. Karl-Axel Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kozma Poci in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Vestlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. K.F TIRANA's attentive Roman Wodaszak managed to snatch the ball when Sonny Vik made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Marsel Spaha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Per-Åke Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Karl-Axel Nyman managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when K.F TIRANA's Paco Cano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th match minute, K.F TIRANA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Wodaszak to maneuver through the defense. In the 62ndth minute of the game Torgny Bäckström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonny Vik hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Torgny Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branden Shelton having to interfere. Kozma Poci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per-Åke Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kozma Poci. 79 minutes into the game, Kozma Poci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Axel Nyman. Kozma Poci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Branden Shelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Branden Shelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Paco Cano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K.F TIRANA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paco Cano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Söderbröder getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gláuber Bertassi hit a great ball. The K.F TIRANA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing K.F TIRANA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
