Gláuber Bertassi lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Rudqvist to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kennet Rudqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Åke Hedling was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Söderbröder's Paulão Tasso was substituted for Kennet Rudqvist. 78 minutes into the match, Cohaerentia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Tasso came free, but Sven-Åke Hedling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cohaerentia F.C.'s Sven-Åke Hedling got control of the ball when Paulão Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ulf Örtlund fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cohaerentia F.C.'s protests and gave Ulf Örtlund a yellow card for diving instead. Ulf Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Söderbröder had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
