The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 19th minute of play. FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Nikola Krstović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sébastian Gossard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tim Hebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFK Petržalka's Tim Hebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sébastian Gossard in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Laurent Cazes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sébastian Gossard during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sébastian Gossard to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikola Krstović took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raphaël Giacometti kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sasho Amiorkov made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sasho Amiorkov in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Mora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Nikola Krstović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Mathys Mora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikola Krstović in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Mathys Mora. FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saubrigues from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Nikola Krstović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathys Mora. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathys Mora should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathys Mora. That made the score 0-9 after 83 minutes of play. Mathys Mora made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. Mathys Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora got control of the ball when Nikola Krstović tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Saubrigues getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dominique Levi hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded AFK Petržalka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Saubrigues.
