Alvaro Lop was slow to take the kick. During this time TALLERES's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Dlugi in the 17th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TALLERES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Medina should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Hardy Skallergård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardy Skallergård blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Medina having to make a save.
