FC LongeR's Radomil Cielencki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iulian Zburliş in the 9 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vihar Milev in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lăcătuș saved Republica Ploiești from getting behind. Nedim Yazgı scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Zberea came free, but Hieronim Walczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihar Milev in the 19th minute of play. August Eelrand struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LongeR. With a little luck, Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș got control of the ball when Vihar Milev tried to sneak it across the goal line. August Eelrand kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Mircea Mihoc charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manuel Lăcătuș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 35 minutes of play, FC LongeR's Vihar Milev made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lăcătuș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radomil Cielencki charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomil Cielencki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Cielencki. Iulian Zburliş hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Vihar Milev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. The goal made the score 4-0. 47 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's Vihar Milev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lăcătuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iulian Zburliş kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Zberea was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Republica Ploiești's protests and gave Iulian Zburliş a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Vihar Milev put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. 69 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's Vihar Milev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lăcătuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vihar Milev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goalkeeper Hieronim Walczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Chiriță. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Vihar Milev sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Iulian Zburliş got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC LongeR booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Zburliş didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC LongeR's Vihar Milev got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vihar Milev came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC LongeR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vihar Milev couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicu Zberea during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Nicu Zberea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Costică Barbu. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC LongeR had played much better football throughout.
