Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicu Zberea kicked off to start the match. After 9 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Firea. In the 9th minute of the match Emili Lean sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Lăcătuș skillfully saved the ball. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Penha in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Lăcătuș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mazinho Hermes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. In the 19th match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Rosen to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Andrew Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Firea hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Murillo in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by O MOTIVO ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Potopea was slow to take the kick. During this time Republica Ploiești's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valentin Potopea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erivaldo Hermes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Potopea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bertoni in the 43rd minute of the match. Erivaldo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Luțu in the 44th minute of play. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by O MOTIVO ⚽'s Mazinho Hermes. But to his dismay, Mazinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yan Penha made a kick off. Andrew Murillo scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Lăcătuș was a little too slow when Daniel Bertoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 60th minute, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Daniel Bertoni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Yan Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Bertoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Yan Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. The goal made the score 0-7. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by O MOTIVO ⚽'s Daniel Bertoni. But to his dismay, Daniel Bertoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Daniel Bertoni got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Republica Ploiești's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Naldo Goiano scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Lăcătuș, making the score, 0-9. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Vasile Stoica got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Daniel Bertoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Manuel Lăcătuș made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded O MOTIVO ⚽ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Republica Ploiești.
