The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Lea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fernando Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Hugo Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Eraslan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Cunha in the 13th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miau Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldo Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fernando Teixeira having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Lea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free, but Luiz Fernando Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Ronaldo Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Hortêncio Moreira in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Miau Stars's Kenneth Knutsson. In the 34thth minute of the game Ronaldo Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Doriva Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fenomeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Luiz Fernando Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Fenomeno took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Luiz Fernando Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Edmílson Arantes got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Lea FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miau Stars were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lea FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ronaldo Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Luiz Fernando Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Cunha in the 65th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fernando Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldo Fenomeno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 67th minute. Miau Stars made a substitution. Olavo Mota replaced Edmílson Arantes. Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lea FC from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Fenomeno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fernando Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldo Fenomeno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 74th minute. Miau Stars made a substitution. Egídio I replaced Armando Graack. 81 minutes into the match, Lea FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno. 84 minutes into the match Ronaldo Fenomeno climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-10 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fernando Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldo Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Teixeira made a huge save. Luiz Fernando Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvinho Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fernando Teixeira. That made the score 0-11 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Miau Stars could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lea FC throughout the match.
