Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicu Zberea started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Attar in the 2nd minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Emanuel Firea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, İrfan Attar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Urzicuța fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Republica Ploiești's zone, Apolo Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal and Apolo Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kulabhusana Karabashlykov in the 10th minute of play. Vlad Chiricheş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lăcătuș having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Nicu Zberea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Republica Ploiești's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Urzicuța the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar. But to his dismay, İrfan Attar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Manuel Lăcătuș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Beldeanu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when İrfan Attar sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. When FC Urzicuța's Aurel Beldeanu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Urzicuța's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristi Chivu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Lăcătuș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Nicu Zberea got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İrfan Attar to strike the kick off in the second half. From close distance İrfan Attar pressed in the 0-9 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 52 minutes into the game. Aurel Beldeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lăcătuș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. İrfan Attar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Urzicuța. 63 minutes into the match, İrfan Attar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İrfan Attar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when İrfan Attar got free with Manuel Lăcătuș in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Potopea hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Cristi Chivu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristi Chivu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Manuel Lăcătuș made a huge save. After 81 minutes FC Urzicuța's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Potopea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Republica Ploiești's Valentin Potopea to fire away a dangerous shot which Sandu Vlaicu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Kulabhusana Karabashlykov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Republica Ploiești's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Aurel Beldeanu scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Lăcătuș, making the score, 0-13. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Cristi Chivu got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over FC Urzicuța could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Republica Ploiești throughout the match.
