The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iulian Zburliş made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FK Řitka's Margus Paulus. Miroslav Pernický had several of the Republica Ploiești's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Manuel Lăcătuș as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicu Zberea during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicu Zberea hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslav Pernický got free with Manuel Lăcătuș in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Potopea kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Manuel Lăcătuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Kopecký, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute, Miroslav Pernický left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Řitka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 19 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Zburliş. Miroslav Pernickýs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Manuel Lăcătuș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Fred Davus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Zburliş hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Miroslav Pernický struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Řitka. In the 33rd minute Nicu Zberea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Miroslav Pernický cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Zberea in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Lăcătuș was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Miroslav Pernický capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miroslav Pernický really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. 45 minutes into the game, FK Řitka's Miroslav Pernický nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Lăcătuș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Zberea was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Řitka's Miroslav Pernický. But to his dismay, Miroslav Pernický quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Miroslav Pernický sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Pernický in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Miroslav Pernický kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lăcătuș should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasile Stoica during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Jiří Lupač ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Lăcătuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Miroslav Pernický sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. 88 minutes into the match, Miroslav Pernický notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FK Řitka's Margus Paulus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iulian Zburliş, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Jiří Lupač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Řitka's Jiří Lupač. But to his dismay, Jiří Lupač quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. FK Řitka's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
