Iker Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 minutes TALLERES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Pekarík who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Balázs Borbély almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TALLERES's Iker Medina did a great save. Tomáš Požgaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 12th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Žigmund Csontos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Iker Medina made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Požgaj in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Medina saved TALLERES from getting behind. Iker Medina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomáš Požgaj went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iker Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 43rd minute of play. Silverio Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Štefan Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Žigmund Csontos was the one to do the kick off. TALLERES's Iker Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 52nd minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Medina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Björnfot in the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Karwowski got free with Štefan Semeno in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Medardo. Iker Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Hudák in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Silverio Medardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TALLERES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Iker Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žigmund Csontos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. TALLERES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Pekarík ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AFK Petržalka's corner Peter Pekarík fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Medina quite easily take care of the ball. Viktor Srnka kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
