The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Thorvald Damquist made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eigil Kretz during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC LongeR booed when FC GILSAA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eigil Kretz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorvald Damquist kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Robert Robak from a close distance when the talented Salomon Barild managed to make a qualified save. FC GILSAA's players were relieved. When Gorm Venningbo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GILSAA's protests and gave Gorm Venningbo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Gorm Venningbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC GILSAA's Salomon Barild played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Skarpiak in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Lech Skarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Barild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorvald Damquist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When FC GILSAA's Eigil Kretz in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LongeR's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Robak scored 1-1 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salomon Barild, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lech Skarpiak made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Thorvald Damquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomon Barild showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Skarpiak in the 61st minute of the match. Robert Robak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Czech's late challenge caught a FC GILSAA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Czech helped the player get up and apologised. Waldemar Zjawin was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Eigil Kretz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eigil Kretz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 76th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Czeszyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Lech Skarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Barild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorm Venningbo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Zjawin. Waldemar Zjawin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 88 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Thorvald Damquist came free, but Waldemar Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC GILSAA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
