After 4th play minutes Roland Záhoran shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Waldemar Zjawin and just under the crossbar into goal. After 10 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Gleba. Waldemar Zjawin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Záhoran's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 17 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Kluczyk. 17 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Nickler quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dobromir Kluczyk, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 24th minute Roland Záhoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LongeR's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC LongeR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Robert Robak hit a great ball. When Roland Záhoran came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Záhoran couldn't finish the play. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 38th minute of play. Roland Záhoran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tibor Barmoš made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Roland Záhoran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Waldemar Zjawin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Robak in the 61st minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Hugo Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Záhoran in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Zjawin saved FC LongeR from getting behind. After 67 minutes, Mário Sauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the FC LongeR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Mário Sauer got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Robak came free, but Hugo Fisher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Tibor Barmoš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Tibor Barmoš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Waldemar Zjawin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roland Záhoran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Zjawin having to make a save. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Tibor Barmoš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Zjawin. FC LongeR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibor Barmoš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 92 played minutes Roland Záhoran rounded FC LongeR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. The audience was convinced that Roland Záhoran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldemar Zjawin was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
