After 3 minutes of play, Várzea F.C.'s Ramiro Rosado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathys Mora was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Mandrak took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 9 minutes into the match, Alessandro Mandrak notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Ramiro Rosado made a precise shot to the right of Mathys Mora. FC Saubrigues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mathys Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Mandrak in the 18th minute of the match. When Alessandro Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Várzea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Mandrak couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Alphonse Keita got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alphonse Keita kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Bueno in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Mora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ramiro Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Ramiro Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Mandrak succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Mathys Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Ramiro Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Várzea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Rosado couldn't finish the play. Alessandro Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mathys Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramiro Rosado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. In the 44th match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reinaldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Macquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Alessandro Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mathys Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Várzea F.C.. In the 56th minute, Vivaldo Bueno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mathys Mora, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Koehler got free with Mathys Mora in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vivaldo Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alphonse Keita kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Celso Secco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathys Mora showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Camille Roca. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Vivaldo Bueno got a free kick in the 64th minute. Vivaldo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mathys Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Várzea F.C.. Jailson Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Adrien Cariou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Bueno in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Albertinho Travassos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Jailson Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. Hamza Loaëc kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Celso Secco took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Mathys Mora to make any attempt to save it. FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Bueno in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Bueno. The FC Saubrigues fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Várzea F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
