An unexpectedly hard shot by Márton Petres in the 17th minute of play forced Norra Sandby FF's goalkeeper Sigvard Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imre Selymes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Sigvard Skarkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds. Norra Sandby FF's Sigvard Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Szikora in the 21st minute of play. Norra Sandby FF's Sigvard Skarkman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Norra Sandby FF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Szikora in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Skarkman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 57 minutes, Márton Petres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márton Petres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Norra Sandby FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Vik to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Imre Selymes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Skarkman was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 87 played minutes Norra Sandby FF got a freekick which was hit by Johan Vik. After a rather tough play, Norra Sandby FF's Sebastian Eklund got a free kick in the 91st minute. Leeds walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
