Artur Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. Régis Mineiro replaced Régis Sampaio. Severino Marquez scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Severino Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Ramalho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arí Motta in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when AF CERRADO's Arí Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Severino Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Alcântara came out of the goal and Severino Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Melo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho do Nascimento. Chiquinho do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 37th minute, Severino Marquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severino Alcântara, passed just outside the right post. If Fernandão Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Alcântara came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez. But to his dismay, Severino Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí Motta to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Bruno Dionísio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ezequiel Melo made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Maicon Gonçalves however managed to control. When MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 5-3 when Arí Motta sped through MUSHIBA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chiquinho do Nascimento. AF CERRADO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MUSHIBA FC had won, even though AF CERRADO had held more of the ball.
