Brian Boullet kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Bakary Guinaudeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Nestor Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hervé Annette kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud got a free kick in the 13th minute. Sofyane Valognes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Didi Gaúcho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Adil Magaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Alcântara. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adil Magaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 25th minute, Adil Magaud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 28 minutes in the game Wiliam Rosa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Didi Gaúcho. After 30 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Cordeiro. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavian Garcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofyane Valognes having to interfere. Sofyane Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Gaúcho in the 36th minute of the match. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Loureiro in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Flavian Garcon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 47 minutes into the game, Flavian Garcon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Severino Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Adil Magaud recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severino Alcântara. Adil Magaud showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 67th minute of the match Grégory Castello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Alcântara skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, David Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. Karim Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Flavian Garcon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Severino Alcântara made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Cosme in the 86th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Severino Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavian Garcon came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severino Alcântara could save by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Rathmore Lime Tree's Karim Cosme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7. The Rathmore Lime Tree players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
